Shipping policy

1.GENERAL INFOMATION.

At Glassshield customer satisfaction is our priority.

We are committed to delivering your orders in accordance with this policy.

In this policy we use the term Customer "you " this refers to the person who purchases from us.

By making a purchase with us you agree with this policy if you do not agree with this policy, please do not finalize your purchase from us.

 

2. STANDARD SHIPPING COST.

a) A flat fee of 1$10.05 (ten Australian dollars and five cents) applied to all products that are purchased under 250mg

b) international orders a minimum of $36.95 (thirty-six Australian dollars and ninety-five cents) to all products under 250gm . 

 

3. GENERAL HANDLING DELIVERY AND TIMEFRAMES.

a) Once you receive confirmation from us that we have received your order we aim to deliver your order in accordance with the following timelines.

b) We endeavor to deliver your order, however there may be occasions when orders may be later than expected, due to, public holidays, supply chain disruptions, extreme weather events, unusual high demand and transport issues, incorrect or incomplete shipping address or a range of other matters.

 

4. REGULAR SHIPPING UPDATES.

a) Once your order ships you will get notification with the details of the carrier service provider.

You will receive relevant information through the following method adopted by the carriers of SMS.

 

5.WHO DELIVERS YOUR ORDER.

Your orders are delivered as follows.

a) For all parcels International and National   Australia post.

b) For all parcels metro only    Sendle.

c) You will be provided details of the courier with the shipping information. 

d) We reserve the right to change carriers at any time.

 

6. THE REQUEST OF AUTHORITY TO LEAVE.

a) When you place your order, you may have the option of " Authority to leave "

b) If you provide" authority to leave "you authorize our carriers to leave your order at a specified address without needing a signature.  

c) However, if you are providing "authority to leave" please be aware.

d) The product will require delivery in a shaded area or position free from direct sun and heat.

e) If the delivery personnel deem the location unsafe, they will not leave the package unattended.

f)  The package may be taken to a nearby facility for you to collect on a different date. This may incur cost and delay for you.

g) We and (our carriers) are not responsible for damage, lost or stolen packages or parcels.

 

7.PACKAGING FOR DELIVERY.

a) The following guidelines suitable for the packaging of ordered products. 

b) We will use heat resisting packaging to protect from high heat.

c) Weather repellent packaging will be used on ordered products.

 

8.INSURANCE.

 a)  Insurance is offered by the carrier service providers Australia Post and Sendle

b)  Any insurance provided is purchased by you from the carriers specified at our check out 

c) The insurance is included in the postage price. 

d) Any insurance you purchased with a carrier constitutes a contact between you and the insurance provider we are not party to this contract or insurance.

 

9.WHERE WE SHIP TO

a) We offer international and national shipping of our products.

 

10.GST AND OTHER TAXES

a) GST will be charged on all purchases and products for delivery within Australia.

b) international customers are responsible for their customs taxes and duties payable or not applied by their customs officials in their specific country of delivery.

c) We do not take any responsibility in regard to the payment or responsibility of payment notification with any other international country or territory. 

 

11.CHANGE OF SHIPPING ADDRESS 

a) Once your order has been submitted and our process has begun, it will not be possible to change the shipping address. 

b) If your order has been submitted and you are able to contact us by the 

 info@glassshield.com.au/contact-us/, regarding the change in shipping address we will try and change the details on your ordered products package.

 

12.INCOMPLETE INCORECT ADDRESS

a) You shall ensure that all information submitted by you on our platform where your order will be actioned, that the information is true, complete ,and accurate and sufficient to allow for correct delivery. 

b) if you have entered the wrong shipping and delivery contact details this may cause a missed or delayed delivery, and you therefore will not be eligible for a reshipment or a refund on such a transaction. 

13. RESOLUTION OF SHIPPING DIPUTES  

a) In the event of a shipping dispute it is advised that the first contact for you the customer is to contact the carrier.

b) Once this contact has been made details can be obtained from us in regard to the resolve of your dispute or issues raised.

c) The particular carrier is ultimately responsible for the resolution of any issues involving the shipping of your order.

14.DISCLAIMER.

a) Liability for shipping and delivery services are held with the third-part carriers and service providers, we are not and will not be responsible for any delays, errors, or loss of your ordered goods This also includes but not limited to mishandling or late delivery of the customers' orders from us.  

15. INDEMNITIES

a) By using our service, you agree to indemnify defend and hold harmless our service provided to you. You also agree to indemnify directors and employees' agents and services affiliated to any claim, liabilities, or expenses, and including reasonable legal fees, that relate to any acts or omissions of third-party carriers used for shipping purposes in delivering you order.

16.RISK ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

a) By using our service and selecting a shipping option when completing your order, you acknowledge and accept the risk associated with third party delivery services.

b) Our business will not accept any responsibility derived through or caused by any third party for special or exemplary circumstances due to shipping issues.

17. INSPECTION

a) Upon receiving your order, a full inspection of the product should be carried out.

b) In the event that you consider the products have been damaged prior to delivery you must notify us of such damage by a photograph and contact at

within the following 48hours (forty-eight hours)

c) In the events that the product has actually been damaged prior to delivery, and you have notified us of such damage, (and provided evidence of such damage) within the inspected time. Then we will comply with our obligations under the ACL which may require us at our cost to repair, replace, the product, or negotiate a refund. Unless the ACL or any other applicable law provides otherwise.

d) In the event that you claim that that the product has been damaged, but you do not notify us of such within the inspected time Then we will not be obliged to repair replace or refund unless the ACL or another applicable law provides otherwise.

 

18 Title

The products registration will remain with us until we have received the purchase price in full together with any taxes shipping costs other fees or charges payable to us by you in relation to your order.

 

19 YOUR DATA

   a) The privacy of your data supplied to us during the shipping procedure is also governed by our privacy policy.

 

20. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

a) From time to time, we may need to revise and change this policy, from the date the new policy comes in to effect will be the date that indicates your acceptance of your agreement, and therefore to be bound by the new policy.

b) If you do not accept the revised policy, you should not continue to use the services. If you continue to use the services, after the date of the revised policy, your use of the service will indicate your agreement to be bound by the new policy.
